Linda is originally from the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Both she and her great-grandmother were schooled in the art of painting on porcelain, and her great-aunt was a known watercolor portrait artist.
On moving to the Wasatch Mountains, Linda discovered that her apartment building does not allow for a kiln hookup, and so she decided to try her hand at watercolors. She has an affinity for tiny things and thus mini watercolor landscapes. The surrounding mountains are her inspiration.
Linda also loves fiber and textiles and has delved into the eco-dye Trend of infusing leaves, flowers and berries into cloth with some embroidered embellishments.
The afore-mentioned kiln has now found a home and will be put to use soon. Ever restless to explore more creative outlets you never know what Linda will come up with next!
